Following an onsite visit to Karachi Central Prison by Chairperson Rabiya Javeri Agha and the NCHR team, this report documents the conditions of detained Afghan nationals, particularly women and children, held at the facility. Prepared in the context of a combing operation by the Sindh Government and the post-2021 surge in Afghans seeking entry to Pakistan, the report highlights overcrowding, the status of undocumented detainees, and pressing protection concerns.
