This investigative report by NCHR examines the state of shelter homes, Dar ul Amans and other residential facilities, across Pakistan. The report assesses conditions, service delivery, and protection mechanisms for women and children seeking refuge from domestic violence, forced marriage, and other vulnerabilities. Following this report the government in partnership with UNWOMEN upgraded the Nawabshah shelter home.
