NCHR’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) team filed complaints on behalf of over 150 women from Swat who were denied their property rights at an Open Court in Kalam. After hearing the cases, the Ombudsperson KP decided to take necessary action to ensure the protection of women’s rights and address the issue of customary practices denying them their rightful shares.
